  13. LookBook looks useful, depending on how convenient it is to process a document.
  14. I haven't tried, but it might be worth the time to make a table of contents and
  15. index for "Survey It Yourself".  I assume that most people involved with
  16. shareware read text with Vern Buerg's LIST, and can quickly find anything with
  17. Find and Again.

  19. LookBook in no way resembles IRIS.  IRIS is a clumsy file reader whose only
  20. virtue is that it makes it difficult to copy or print a file.  Unfortunately,
  21. an obfuscator is exactly what I don't want!  LookBook leaves the ASCII file
  22. alone, and adds its interperative files.

  24. LookBook isn't hypertext.  It doesn't even have a simple Find.  If what you
  25. want to find has not been indexed, then LookBook will not do you any good.  You
  26. are totally at the mercy of the indexer.  Besides, by using LIST with wildcard
  27. filenames, Find, and Again, I can find any part of any unmodified documentation
  28. fast enuf for my purposes.  No index nor indexer needed.
